Album Review - Spud Cannon: Good Kids Make Bad Apples (June 25, 2021) via Good Eye Records
If you're looking for fresh indie music, look no further than New York City's own Spud Cannon. Their newest release Good Kids Make Bad Apples drops this Friday on Good Eye Records. The album is a melodically joyful and clocks in at nine tracks. This is an album that you can put on and let roll as each song brings more joy than the previous.
Good Kids Make Bad Apples is one giant, bright, indie infused banger. Each song slaps and I found myself bopping along, even on my first listen through. A perfect album for summer Good Kids Make Bad Apples is a winner for the five-piece. Hopefully this release launches them into further success as they've definitely earned it with this one. If I had to choose a favorite from the album, it would be "P.O.T.A.T.O" as it brings me memories of The Breeders.
