We made our way to Stubbs Amphitheater in Austin, TX for a night full of rock music. First up was a band called Cloud Nothings, an indie rock band from Cleveland, OH! Cloud Nothings featured an interesting mix of driving guitar, steady drumming, thick bass, and dynamic vocals and screams.

Up next was supergroup L.S. Dunes which features lead vocalist Anthony Green (of Circa Survive, Saosin, and The Sounds of Animals Fighting), Frank Iero, guitarist (My Chemical Romance, guitarist Travis Stever (of Coheed and Cambria), Tim Payne, and drummer Tucker Rule from the band Thursday. Green and Co.'s stage presence was absolutely masterful. You could tell this was a group of professionals. The crowd lost it with each song they performed and Green made a fan for life when he allowed a lucky young woman to sing part of one of their songs!

To close out the night was the one and only Rise Against! They made sure to let the crowd know quickly that despite recent news with the election, the band isn't going anywhere as lead singer and guitarist Tim McIlrath growled "We've been around for six presidential administrations and you know what? We're going to be around for the next six!" An intense moment happened with McIlrath broke out the bullhorn to sing portions of tracks, check out the shot we got of him with it!

Rise Against played sixteen songs (including an acoustic set and an encore) that had new and old favorites including "Satellite", "Help is On the Way", "Hero of War", "Black Masks & Gasoline", and "Savior". McIlrath engaged with the fans multiple times by jumping into the crowd and singing as they pumped their fists agreeing with the band's message. Stubbs was absolutely packed to the gills from the jump on this show and it's easy to see why. Every band that played that night gave it their all and put on a great show!
