Let’s go back to a simpler time (yes, I went there). A time when wrist sweatbands were peak fashion and our shorts were so long they basically qualified as pants. Grab your passports, because Ozzie and I are headed to Canada this week for the one and only: Simple Plan!
Simple Plan isn’t just a pop‑rock band — they’re the soundtrack of our collective teenage angst. Their catchy lyrics and iconic melodies bring elder emos together from every corner of the world. What really makes them a household name, though, is how relatable they’ve always been. Growing up, everyone had at least one song in their discography that just got you. It’s this rare experience where the band and listener grow up side by side, sharing the highs, the lows, and the melodramatic middle parts.
I saw Simple Plan at Warped Tour and WOW. Talk about a must‑see stage. People flooded in waves just to catch their set. When a band has that many top hits, it amps the crowd up to a whole new level — everyone was singing, smiling, and genuinely happy. It felt like we were all kids again, like somehow time hadn’t moved at all. And honestly, that vibe comes straight from Simple Plan themselves: fun, nostalgic, totally carefree. They’re still up there having the time of their lives, just like they were 25 years ago. They’re not giving us a show; they’re giving us an experience.

Let’s face it… we’re just a kid.
Love,
Sarah and Ozzie
