Collector's Corner: The Rolling Stones - 'Hackney Diamonds' Anniversary Edition

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of The Rolling Stones' smash success Hackney Diamonds, the band is releasing a special edition one-year anniversary double LP of the album! The LP which comes in a gatefold with an included book of pictures and lyrics is a well done effort by the band that is known for being among the best to ever do it!

The new edition dropped December 6th and when it was released in 2023 it represented the band's first original material since 2005. The two LP's feature a gorgeous clear and light blue splatter pattern that is simply astounding. On the LP's you get the original 12-track album and all it's goodness, as well as a special live set from the Stones Live at Racket, NYC! The live set features songs from the album as well as old favorites like "Jumpin' Jack Flash". The Stones sound incredible live and it's crown jewel moment is when the legendary Mick Jagger is joined on stage by Lady Gaga for The Stones single "Sweet Sounds of Heaven".

Hackney Diamonds represented an immense success for a band that has seen so much of it. The Rolling Stones simply needed to remind everyone why they're often called "The Greatest Rock 'n Roll Band of All Time". It's not lost on this special edition of Hackney Diamonds. The tracks jump off the record at you and are so warm from the care they were given in mastering in production. This has quickly become one of my favorite records to own.
