Kicking off the “I’m Not Afraid of Tour Anymore “ Tour was the supporting act Aidan Bissett, who was previously in Columbus this past May. Bissett contrasted moody lighting with a bubbly attitude, and incredible stage presence. Aidan played a decent amount of songs for a supporting act including his most notable song “All That I’m Craving“.
Up next was the band often stylized as COIN, kicking the evening off with a silhouette moment as Chase Lawrence, (singer) starting the evening by singing “It’s hard to care about everything“. Having seen this band live multiple times, I will say COIN has always put on an incredible show, and I’m certain they always will. Evolving from a simple neon light with their name, to LED screens above and behind projecting illustrations, words and creating an almost immersive 3D experience.
The band played signature songs that created the identity of band we all know and love, and also played their new album I'm Not Afraid of Music Anymore. I had a chance to review the album earlier this year, (you can find it here) and from reviewing the album to seeing them perform it live is a must! The band played well over 20 songs, including a mystery song! The live experience that COIN puts on is nothing short of amazing and it's always a treat for loyalists and new fans alike!
