Album Review: Ritt Momney - 'BASE'

Jack Rutter, who performs as Ritt Momney had a dynamic journey to create his new album BASE. Rutter took a reset and focused on making a record that he wanted to make. The result is a wonderful album bursting at the seams with lo-fi bedroom rock goodness.

The album clocks in at 12 tracks with highlights all over the place. One aspect of the record that stood out to us was the chorus of "GUNNA". The song starts acoustic and builds to a peak with dynamic vocals and instrumentation throughout. BASE is an album that pulls no punches, as Rutter has stripped things down to the studs to focus on storytelling.

The making of BASE was quite a journey for Rutter who almost quit music before rebuilding sonically and thematically with this release. The result is some of the best lo-fi we've heard in a minute. We highly recommend this one!
