Mt. Joy are back with their fourth LP of their young careers and already they continue to mature their sound as they go along. The band has found a home on the road playing 70 date appearances with stops in the likes of Madison Square Guardian and Red Rocks Amphitheater. You can just tell that Mt. Joy is a band that has hammered their work out together through live repetition that comes with those long nights on the road.

The result is a final product that is polished and harkens back to their prior work such as "More More More" and other tracks that fill with a new rambunctious noisy sound as there is on their track "Coyote". The band does have a couple features on the album including Gigi Perez and Nathaniel Rateliff. The track with Perez is paired down and picks up later with some nice dueling vocals toward the end. "Wild and Rotten" featuring Nathaniel Rateliff is an acoustic track that features a slap melody, some great piano work, and awesome vocals from Rateliff and Matt Quinn.
Overall this album shows continued success for the critically acclaimed band and we think it's about time Mt. Joy starts to get their just flowers for being one of the biggest draws in the alt game. They're certainly one of the most consistent regarding output.
