Advance Review - Stolen Jars - A Reminder - (September 6, 2019)
Stolen Jars' new album A Reminder presents an interesting mix of folk music with lo-fi chill beats. It is a good soundtrack to study to or relax with. The vocals are beautiful and clear to listen to throughout, and while this album presents an interesting new sound, sometimes, it doesn't always mix well. It feels forced, and it distracts from the profound thought and emotion put into the lyrics themselves.
However, a couple of tracks to really listen to are: "Space By Your Side" and "Winona". The drums in this band a very impressive. Worth a listen!
