Advance Review - Lost & Faded - EmOcean

Advance Review - Lost & Faded - EmOcean

I absolutely loved the track "EmOcean" it reminded me of an alt-rock version of a Silversun Pickups track. The vocals were dynamic. The chorus picks up in all the right ways from the more subdued chorus. What's better is I can imagine listening to this track by the ocean, I get that feeling.

In "Instant Regret" Lost & Faded push their sound a bit more to the heavier side of alt-rock with screams paired with melodic vocals. I can't say enough about the pairing of the vocals and the music on this EP thus far. The vocals pop off the EP. This track is so emotive, it conveys the pain of looking back with regret, sometimes we can't salvage those circumstances.

On "You are So Loved" Lost & Faded does a great job building tension before hitting their chorus. Once the chorus does hit, it explodes with alt-rock goodness. The band again does a great job of expressing emotion through their lyrics. The song is evenly paced and moves the listener well throughout. It's a strong way to end the EP.
