I Don't Know How But They Found Me, Sold Out at the Newport!

Opening the sold out evening was supposed to be Benches but it was rumored that one of their members got sick! So The Newport was treated to some local musical flavor! Opening the evening was Mery Steel from Columbus, OH. She took on the sage with nothing but a guitar for a stripped down set. The performance Steel put on was magnificent, she's a veteran of the Columbus scene by being in multiple musical projects, along with her solo stuff.

I Don't Know How But They Found Me (IDKHOW) based out of Salt Lake City, Utah were up next in the sold out Newport Music Hall. The seasons have been changing here in Ohio, and this was one of the first warmer evenings in Columbus, so the wait in line was perfect, as was the payoff. IDKHOW played a mix of new and old tracks and even some covers. IDKHOW played fifteen originals and five covers in their set overall. The band absolutely killed it with their unique stage presence, lighting, and ability to gradually hype the crowd up with every song.
