We are so excited to provide you with a review from one of our favorites out there right now, The Black Pumas! Today, we're looking at their most recent live album Live From Brooklyn Paramount. Special thanks to ATO Records for the hookup with the vinyl to be able to do this review!

Let's start with the packaging. The jacket features some great live photography of The Black Pumas in action in particular highlighting their massive stage presence, sophisticated light show, and intimate connection with the crowd! After taking a break from touring, the band returned in 2024 with this show among others to support their sophomore album Chronicles of a Diamond. Eric Burton and bandmate Adrian Quesada bring the stage to life with their six-piece band. The band shows that not only can they foster a great connection to a live crowd, but they can also perform their tracks in fun and innovative ways live.
The dynamic and far reaching set by the band includes favorites such as the GRAMMY nominated "Colors", "Black Moon Rising", "More Than A Love Song", and even the band's own spin on Tracy Chapman's classic "Fast Car"! The sound is so crisp on the delicately pressed vinyl that features a dynamic "Brooklyn Brownstone" coloring that is absolutely stunning. The warmth of vinyl is the way to listen to Black Pumas and we'll die on that hill.
What's clear is that even after two critically acclaimed studio albums, The Black Pumas are never done giving to their loyal fanbase. The amount of live experience that you get on this dual-LP is fantastic for the price. If you're looking to get ahold of it, you can find it here on ATO's website! If you're a fan of the band, this is a must get for you!
