Artists on the Rise - November

Every month we feature various artists on the rise to share with you. These artists are making noise on the local, regional, or national level. Our main goal is to introduce you to new music! Here are five artists/bands on the rise in no particular order.

1. Hachiku - DIY dream pop artist Hachiku (Anika Ostendorf) is currently signed to the fantastic Milk! Records and just dropped a new album I'll Probably be Asleep on November 13, 2020. We had an opportunity to chat with Ostendorf for an Artist Spotlight you can check out here!

2. Babeheaven - West Londoners Nancy Andersen (vocals) and Jamie Travis (keys) AKA Babeheaven just dropped their new album Home for Now on November 20, 2020 and it's making waves on the indie scene. They're definitely worth checking out.

3. Vaeda Black - Vaeda Black is no stranger to the site, but she's always up to new and great things. The former American Idol contestant just dropped a new single "Wake Up" on us and we're here for it. Check it.

4. Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum - This is technically a supergroup, featuring Michael C. Hall of Dexter fame (vocals), Michael Katz-Bohen of Blondie (keys), and Peter Yanowitz from The Wallflowers (drums). The summation of these three talented artists is a unique alt/art music experience you won't forget. Their single "Eat an Eraser" sticks with you.

5. Transviolet - Alt Revue favorite Transviolet make the list this week as they just dropped video for their hit single "Tropics"! Transviolet are among the best in the game at altpop music and if you haven't checked them out, you definitely need to!

Anyway, that's it for this month. Check back next time for more artists on the rise!
