We're happy to highlight Vevo and Cold War Kids release of live performances of "Complainer" and "Beyond the Pale"!

Cold War Kids have been a mainstay of the alt-scene since the mid-2000's, but have steadily grown in that time. Their influences are diverse and range from Tom Waits, Billie Holiday, Nick Cave, and U2. Cold War Kids' shifting lineup has led to a sonic evolution for the group. This began with their blues-punk Robbers & Cowards, moved to the alt-rock sound on Mine is Yours (2011). As Cold War Kids popularity grew, their 2017 release L.A. Divine made the Top 10 of the Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart. This year, Cold War Kids have kicked off a trilogy of mini-albums. The first release of these being October's New Age Norms, Vol. 1. Both "Complainer" and "Beyond the Pale" originally appeared on New Age Norms, Vol. 1.
